About The Golden Ghosts

Originally a Duo, formed between Riley Bray (Vocals, Guitar, Piano) and Justin Goings (Drums, Percussion), The Golden Ghosts found their way on the run, playing many of their first shows in 2011 at SXSW, followed by several regional tours in and around California. Their sound moves freely from psychedellic surf and garage to southern soul and desert rock. With the release of their debut LP Gleam (2012) The group began to build their following. Self released on the band's own label Rainspell, Gleam broke the top 200 on CMJ charts. Now joined by Spencer Schuck (Bass), The Golden Ghosts are preparing to release their sophomore record, Everything Becomes. Recorded in San Francisco, the album was tracked using exclusively analog equipment. Freeing themselves from the computer, The Golden Ghosts have refined their sound and approach on Everything Becomes. The album is due for release in March 2014.
